Flávio Reis, Principal Investigator at iCBR-FMUC and CiBB, was elected President of the Board of the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology (SPF) for the 2025-2028 triennium, during the 55th Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology.

The SPF Annual Meeting took place at the Medical Research Center of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (CIM-FMUP), between February 5 and 7.

Flávio Reis is leader of the “Therapeutics and nutraceuticals for chronic inflammatory diseases” group at iCBR, leader of the “Metabolic Risk and Nutrition” group at CiBB, member of the Executive Board of the Portuguese Society of Laboratory Animal Sciences (SPCAL) since 2021 and Coordinator of the Research Management Office at FMUC. In addition to these and other duties and the scientific research he carries out, Flávio Reis is often involved in scientific dissemination and communication activities for different target audiences in society.
